GDC Directors

Carey Anderson was co-founder of the company and made director of GDC upon company commencement. He graduated as a Bachelor of Economics from Monash University.

He has previously worked with (ICD Publishing) and 192.com in the UK and was employed to create the corporate division of 192.com – corporate192.com. Corporate192 is a specialised data solution provider to Top Fortune 1000 companies.

The data provision was unique in the fact that it was one of the only data sources in Europe that combined the complete UK Electoral Roll, BT OSIS Directory Information and DNB business data files. Carey responsibly handled all data solution sales on behalf of Corporate192 to areas of Government for the purpose of ID fraud prevention; Police for the purpose of criminal investigations; Corporate for directory enquires, risk mitigation, anti money laundering, ID theft prevention and Know Your Customer (KYC). Other clients included leading European Universities and Hospitals for mapping and genealogy research.

Carey has also held the position of director of Authentication Services in the United States of America working with Aristotle International.

Aristotle holds one of the worlds largest consumer and residential data sources and has a core focus on supplying Government Issued Identification (GID) for the purpose of Patriot Act Compliance:(Know Your Customer, KYC). Aristotle also plays an integral role in working with the American Government and business community to implement age verification solutions to prevent minors from accessing websites that promote alcohol, tobacco, gambling and pornography. Carey worked with leading US companies and key figures within government at Capital Hill.

Currently Carey is a director of The Lead Generation Company in Australia and is responsible for all data acquisitions and alliances including sales and marketing.

Edward Sedgley was appointed a director of GDC also upon the commencement of the company registration. He graduated as a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts from Melbourne University.

He has previously been employed by i-CD Publishing (Corporate 192) in the UK for whom he was a Corporate Sales Executive dealing with identity verification solutions. Corporate 192 was a specialised data solution provider to Top Fortune 1000 companies, government and police. The data provision was unique in the fact that it was one of the only data sources in Europe that combined the complete UK Electoral Roll, BT OSIS Directory Information and DNB business data file.

In this market Edward assisted a range of blue chip clients but particularly financial institutions to implement i-CD Publishing’s identity verification solution to ensure identity verification compliance.

Edward has since returned to Australia, with his primary role being to establish The Lead Generation Company (LGCo). LGCo is nearing the completion of its third year and has recorded an average of 80% growth per annum, and services clients such as Caltex Australia, LexisNexis, Upstream and Mission Australia.

LGCo has also recently hosted a charity dinner dance with all proceeds being given to the Leukaemia Foundation.

IT & Data Management

Matt Bourne was employed by the GDC team to lend his expertise to the management and continuity of the IT infrastructure.

He graduated as a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Information Systems from the University of Melbourne. Prior to working at the Global Data Company, Matt was a principal partner at Sphere Computer Group, where he headed the IT Support and Maintenance of a large client base of Corporate & SME businesses.

As part of his time at the Global Data Company, Matt has led a number of initiatives including the implementation of secure and encrypted file transfer across global networks, database storage and housing facilities as well as streamlining the use of our core verification products into our many large database stores.
